Snaefellsnes Peninsula – Iceland 2023

This trip to Iceland was incredible. Travelling around the western peninsula in a California campervan on the longest day of the year meant 24 hours of sunlight – a dream for landscape photography.

The Snæfellsnes Peninsula felt like all of icleand in one place. Mountains, waterfalls, churches, shipwrecks, lava fields and even beautiful flowers in the summer. I travelled alongside my uncle and professional photographer Chris Orange. We slept in the campervan in small 2 hour bursts trying to make the most out of the 24 hour sunlight

We were even blessed to run into an arctic fox on the coast. It was an amazing privilege to be only a few meters away from this majestic animal.
